Website operator

These terms of use (the “Terms”) govern access to and the use of the website operated by IUS@B (hereinafter “IUS@B” or “the Association”), a student association operating at Bocconi University (hereinafter “the University”). This website is not the University’s official portal and, unless expressly stated otherwise, its content does not represent the University’s views.

Acceptance and proper use

These Terms apply to all persons who access the website, download materials from it, submit content or information through it, or use it in connection with the Association’s recruitment process (hereinafter “Users”).

Users must use the website lawfully, and must not compromise its security or availability, submit false data or unlawful content, or make abusive automated requests. The Association may restrict access when necessary to protect users, systems, and processes.

Informational content

Articles, study notes, academic information, and other materials are provided for the Association’s non-commercial informational and educational purposes. They do not constitute official legal advice and do not substitute study materials provided or recommended by the University and its staff. Users must verify deadlines, programs, rules, and relevant information with the appropriate institutional sources.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise indicated, copyright and other intellectual-property rights remain with the relevant authors or rights holders. Materials may be accessed and used for personal, non-commercial study. Sale, systematic redistribution and commercial exploitation require the rights holder’s prior permission.

By submitting content, the contributor grants IUS@B a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, display and make the content available through the website for the website’s educational and institutional purposes. The contributor retains ownership of the content and may request its removal by contacting IUS@B, without affecting uses already lawfully made.

User-submitted materials

Anyone who submits study notes, articles, or other content confirms that they are entitled to share it and that it does not infringe third-party rights, confidentiality, or applicable rules. IUS@B may reject or remove material that is irrelevant, inaccurate, unlawful, or disputed. IUS@B does not guarantee, and assumes no responsibility for, the accuracy or completeness of user-submitted information, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

External links and services

The website may contain links to third-party websites or services. IUS@B does not control these resources and is not responsible for their availability, content, or terms. Users should review the relevant terms and policies before using them.

Availability and liability

IUS@B strives to keep information and services current and available but does not guarantee that they will be free from errors or interruptions. To the extent permitted by law, the Association is not liable for loss or damage arising from misuse of the website, exclusive reliance on informational content, or causes beyond its control. Liability that cannot be excluded by law remains unaffected.

Suspected infringement or unlawful content may be reported to as.iusatb@unibocconi.it, identifying the material, its location, the reason for the report, and the reporting person’s contact details.

Privacy

Personal data processing is described in the Privacy Policy; cookies and technical tools are described in the Cookie Policy.

Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute is subject to the court with jurisdiction under applicable law. IUS@B may update these Terms; the version published on the website is the version in effect.
